What are the visa and passport requirements?

It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary visas to enable you to join a tour. We are always help with this process. Otherwise, be sure to check with your travel agent, consular office or the smart traveller website.
All passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the duration of your tour.

Do I require travel insurance?

It is a requirement that you take out a travel insurance poilcy when joining a tour. Please check that your policy includes cancellation in the event that you are forced to cancel your tour prior to departure or leave the tour during operation due to unforeseen circumstances. Do I need vaccinations and medical advice?

Before you embark on your Authentic Global Travel, we suggest you visit your local GP for advice on vaccinations, medication and travel information. Our tours require you to be able to walk to attractions, around towns and get on and off transport. Some hotels may not have a lift so you will need to be able to manage stairs. If you have any concerns, please check with us.

When will my booking be confirmed?

Once your booking form and deposit have been received, we will be in touch via email or phone to confirm your tour. Please do not book International airfares until we have been in contact. 

How can I pay?

We accept bank deposits or credit card payments (VISA or MASTERCARD). Payments via credit card will incurr an additional 2.2% transaction fee. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole.

What is included in the price?

We've tried to include all daily costs into the price of our tours. This means you only need to bring spending money. Did we mention that we have also found some fabulous places to shop while on our tours!

How flexible are Authentic Global tours?

We want you to have an unforgetable holiday. Our itinearies are designed to allow some flexibility according to things such as weather, festivals and group wishes. That is one of the benefits of travelling in a small group. 

Are you able to cater for my dietary restrictions?

We'll do our best to satisfy your dietry requirements. Please ensure you notify us at the time of booking. 

Am I expected to pay gratuities?

Gratuities in restaurants are covered by Authentic Global Travel. Tipping your driver and local tour guide is at your discretion. It is common practise on organised tours and we are happy to advise a suitable amount.

What kind of hotels does Authentic Global Travel use?

We have hand picked our hotels in line with our travel philosophy. We look for hotels with character and in keeping with the country we are travelling in. We've chosen a gorgeous riad in Marrakesh, palace hotel in Jojawar and heritage hotel in Jaipur. Our hotels are all clean and comfortable and are 3 - 4 star quality.

Who are the trips for?

Our tours are suitable for all keen travellers. It helps if you have an open mind and go with the flow attitude as this is necessary when travelling in a group within Asia and Africa. We welcome solo travellers and will endevour to help find a room mate if required.
We want you to have an amazing trip, so you should be in good health and able to participate on the trip unaided. Out tours do involve walking and some stairs.

Do you only offer the tours listed or can you customise a tour?

We are happy to prepare a tour for a group of friends or family travelling together. Please contact us and we'll work together to create an unforgetable holiday.
